New for 2017, the new Hyundai i30 has been designed to cope with the rigours and strains of modern life, and to provide a refined and stress-free driving experience. Available as a three- or five-door model, the refreshed i30 will prove a winner on and off the road.
The new i30's reshaped front bumper includes LED daytime running lights and the immediately recognisable Hyundai hexagonal grille. Sporty shaping results in enhanced aerodynamic performance and the 17-inch alloy wheels provide a touch of style to the finishing.
Inside the i30, everything has been designed to make driving simple and straightforward, with the steering wheel-mounted controls giving you access to all the important technology. On the “Sport" specification, the part-leather/part-cloth upholstery generates an energetic atmosphere, whilst the soft-touch materials offer comfort and refinement.
Storage space of 378 litres in the three-door option is impressively large for a B-segment vehicle, and this increases to 1,316 litres with the back seats folded.
Blue Drive technology from Hyundai provides 108bhp from the Active 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engine choice, which returns low fuel consumption and carbon emissions of 64.2mpg and 117g/km.. A 126bhp option is also available, or you can opt for a petrol model with a six-speed manual gearbox. The 1.4-litre petrol version, meanwhile, will give you 47.1mpg and CO2 emissions of just 139g/km.
An Eco drive indicator is fitted to help you change gear at the optimum time and Intelligent Stop and Go technology will turn the engine off when you are held at a light or in traffic, helping you to conserve fuel.
The Style Nav system from Hyundai is easy to access and use with the touchscreen found on the central console, and the Traffic Messaging Channel will warn you about any delays on the roads. Bluetooth® connectivity will keep you in touch while you are on the move, and to help you guide the i30 into a parking space you will have rear parking sensors and a rear-view display.
A five-star Euro NCAP safety rating means you can have peace of mind motoring at all times and active safety features include the Electronic Stability Programme and Brake Assist System. With a five-year warranty from Hyundai, the i30 is a car you can trust and rely on.
