Scrappage Success & Extension!
Since the launch of the Government Scrappage Scheme in May 2009, Wessex Garages have delivered over 2,000 additional new cars, with every customer saving at least £2,000. We are delighted to say that Wessex Garages have three of the top five franchises on scrappage deals, with particular success for the Kia Picanto, Fiat 500 and Nissan's offering a unique scrappage allowance on 8-10 year old scrap cars on new UK-built vehicles such as the Micra, Note and Qashqai.
During the end of 2009 the Government announced a second and final extention to the Scheme extending the deadline until the 31st March 2010 or sooner if the funding runs out.
Combined with the Government initiative, Wessex Garages are offering up to £2,000 scrappage allowance against selected Used Cars at ALL branches.
With very limited volumes of stock remaining and the deadline fast approaching, there has never been a better time to take advantage of the Scheme before the funding runs out!

Wessex Opens £1.5 Million Showroom in Cardiff
Following a successful launch evening with over 100 selected guests; Wessex Garages has now officially opened the doors to our new state-of-the-art dealership on Penarth Road, Cardiff, adjacent to our existing Nissan site. The expansion of our dealership network has creatd 20 new jobs and will see the dealership's brands (Fiat, Kia and a re-launched brand, Abarth) display 200 new and used cars on site.
We are no strangers to Cardiff with our successful Nissan dealership situated next door for circa. 20 years, and after 2 years of planning and 6 months build, the new investment into the Cardiff-based site has totalled £1.5 million, providing local customers with a better-than-ever service and now 4 great brands to choose from. Customers can view a wide selection of the latest models in the new 600 square metre showroom, in spacious, light and airy surroundings enhanced by the showroom's new flooring, furniture and lighting.
Visitors to the new showroom are able to take advantage of complimentary tea or coffee, an internet cafe with WiFi and free use of the customer telephone.

British Top Technician
Wes Bawn, a master technician at our Bristol dealership has recently been placed in the top 10 Nissan technicians in the country.
Wes, who has been with Wessex for nearly 15 years, competed against every Nissan dealership in the UK and was tested on his diagnosis and technical abilities with the latest computerised diagnostic equipment as well as extensive testing of his product knowledge.
Chris Wiseman, Operations Director said "we are delighted to have one of our most senior technicians recognised in this way. This represents years of hard work and training and gives our customers the confidence that these vehicles are being worked on by some of the best in the country."
Wes has been presented with a set of Snap-On tools by the Service Management Team at Nissan.
