Bristol 10k gets some four wheeled eco support from us

We’re pleased to announce that we will be offering some four-wheeled support to the Bristol 10k event this Sunday (May 31, 2015).

We will be providing the organisers with an electric Nissan Leaf, which will be used as the lead car for the race.

The Nissan Leaf runs entirely on electricity and is becoming more popular in the UK due to its environmental benefits and our high fuel prices. It is the perfect car to lead the event as it ties in with Bristol being the 2015 European Green Capital.

The Bristol 10k is now one of the fastest growing and most popular of its kind in the UK. The race is a RunBritain grand Prix event and will include some of the top athletes in the UK.

The race will start at 9.30am on Sunday, May 31. The scenic, sea-level route starts and finishes in Bristol’s historic Harbourside. It takes runners along the Harbourside, out and back along the Portway, through the stunning Avon Gorge, and passes twice under Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.

The Event Village and the start and finish line are all adjacent to At-Bristol on Anchor Road.

For more information about the Nissan Leaf, please call our dealership on Pennywell Road in Bristol on 01173 322 655.
