HORROR fans from Gloucestershire attending a Halloween festival in the county this month (October, 2015) will also be able to take a look around some spooky vehicles.

Visitors to the Frightmare Halloween Festival at Over Farm Market in Over will have a chance to view cars from us at the event from October 16 until November 1.

Darren Preddy, our General Manager at Wessex Garages on Mercia Road in Gloucester, explained: “This is the second year we have attended the event and we are really looking forward to displaying a selection of our vehicles at the festival. We will be taking along a Kia Venga and a Nissan Qashqai.

“In keeping with the Halloween-theme we are also planning to decorate the cars and people can expect a few spooky surprises when they walk past our display.”

The Frightmare Halloween Festival will feature a variety of scary evening attractions including a haunted hayride, fright house and séance.

During the day there will be a range of activities for children such as tractor trailer rides, pumpkin carving, a spooky treasure hunt, Halloween Puppet Show and fancy dress competition.

The festival takes place on selected days from now until Sunday, November 1. For further information and entry costs, please visit

Darren added: “We are always keen to support events within our local community. The Frightmare Halloween Festival looks set to be fantastic fun for all ages and we are really pleased to be involved.”
