PEOPLE in Bristol are being invited to a free four-day motoring festival this month (July, 2016) hosted by an award-winning dealership in the city in aid of its Charity of the Year.
The festival will include a Motability Awareness Day, a Business Breakfast Morning, a Summer Party and a Nissan Go Electric Day and will take place from July 7 until 10 at Wessex Garages on Hayes Way at Cribbs Causeway.
Simon Newson, General Manager at the Nissan brand centre, said: “We’re very excited about our first summer festival. There will be lots going on throughout the four days. During the festival we will also be collecting donations for our Charity of the Year, Dance Voice in Bedminster, which is one of the UK’s leading centres dedicated to community-based creative arts therapy.
“On Thursday, July 7 we will be hosting a Motability Awareness Day. There will beMotability specialists on hand throughout the day, a bingo quiz to take part in as well as complimentary cake, tea and coffee. We are also giving away free Wessex gift-bags, which include pens, tyre tread checker, air fresheners, key rings and balloons.
“The next event as part of our festival is a Business Breakfast Morning from 9.30am until 12noon on Friday, July 8. Attendees will receive a free sausage or bacon bap, while stocks last and our Fleet specialists will be available to speak to you during the event to advise how we can help with your business transport needs. Free Wessex gift-bags will also be handed out.
“The main attraction for the weekend is our Summer Party, which will take place on Saturday, July 9. It will be fun for all the family. There will be a free barbecue from 12noon until 4pm, games including Scalextric Power laps, a putting green for all you keen golfers, snakes and ladders and a Pulsar Selfie Competition. Free soft drinks will be on offer all day and attendees will get to take home a free Wessex gift-bag.”
On Sunday, July 10 the dealership is hosting a Nissan Go Electric Day. Electric vehicle specialists will be on hand to answer any questions people may have about switching to an electric mode of transport such as the 100% electric Nissan LEAF, which is the world’s most popular and successful electric vehicle to date.
Attendees will also be able to have a go at a cost comparison challenge on the Nissan electric vehicle App and try out the interactive ZapMap, which enables drivers to locate and navigate to charging points across the UK. Free soft drinks will be available all day and there will be a Wessex gift-bag giveaway.
During the festival every new vehicle that is ordered will be ready by September 1, 2016 in time for the new 66 plate. All purchases are subject to Nissan stock availability at time of order. This excludes Navara and GT-R orders.
The Cribbs Causeway Festival will take place at Wessex Garages on Hayes Way at Cribbs Causeway from Thursday, July 7 until Sunday, July 10.
