More chance to charge around at Cribbs

ELECTRIC car owners will receive an extra Christmas present from us this month (December 28, 2015) as they will be able to charge up their motors at our new Nissan showroom opening at Cribbs.

We will be doubling the number of charging points available in the area with our three consumer chargers at our new site.

Keith Brock, our Managing Director, said: “The electric charging points we’re installing will enhance the charging opportunities for people coming to shop at Cribbs Causeway and for the residents in the surrounding area. It will also make life easier for anyone who chooses an electric vehicle as their mode of transport throughout Bristol.

“We’re advocates of electric vehicles and as a company we are keen to promote the many advantages of using them to our customers. With this in mind, it is vital that we also supply electric charge points for our customers, so that when they visit us or are in the area they can charge their vehicles too.”

The three chargers available for to use include two rapid chargers and one standard charger. We will have a further installation available for our workshop staff to use too.

Our new dealership at Cribbs represents a huge investment for Wessex Garages as the whole project will cost in the region of £5million. It will also be a centre for electric vehicles.

Keith added: “Our new site on Hayes Way at Cribbs Causeway, an area that is developing, looks set to be an excellent retail location for us and we’re working hard to have it open and ready for visitors on December 28.

“We are really passionate about Bristol as it’s our home town and are keen to help promote the many benefits of electric vehicles to the city and its residents. These new charging points are further evidence of our on-going commitment to the area and the environment.”
