We are hosting a Nissan Leaf test drive event at InPlay Golf in Bristol this weekend (September 13 and 14, 2014) so why not come along and try out an electric car?
Two members of staff from our Bristol dealership on Pennywell Road will be on hand to take you on an exclusive 10 minute taster test drive.
Matt Nolan from Wessex Garages with the Second Generation Nissan Leaf.
Keith Brock, our Managing Director, explained: “Our Nissan Leaf experts will be available during the weekend to tell you all about the electric car and also take you on a test drive around the beautiful Bristol Harbour area.
“All of those who do so on the day will receive a complimentary hot drinks voucher for Steak of Art, which is located next door to our display at InPlay on Cathedral Walk.
“For those who would like to see how the Nissan Leaf can fit into their life we can also organise a 24 hour test drive for a convenient date. Our Nissan Leaf experts will be able to discuss any queries you may have and book this for you.
“Anyone who books in for a test drive as part of our InPlay weekend either on the day or at a later date will be entered into a raffle to win an electric golf trolley.”
The Nissan Leaf is the world’s best-selling electric car and is built in Sunderland. The vehicle also benefits from the Government’s plug-in grant. The Government contributes 25%, up to a maximum of £5,000, towards the cost automatically bringing down the purchase price.
Keith added: “Electric cars are now faster and more responsive, which means they can deliver a comparable driving experience and level of comfort to their petrol and diesel counterparts.
“For example, the second generation Leaf has a range of 124 miles and it can be charged up for as little as £2 using a regular domestic socket.
“We also have a Rapid Charger available at the outlet, which can re-charge cars from 0 – 80% in 30 minutes. It would take a normal charger eight hours to power up a car to 80%, so using our rapid one can save customers time.”
