Peter wins tickets to take a walk on the wild side

PETER Anson from Yatton was presented with a family day pass to Bristol Zoo recently (June, 2016) after entering a competition held by a car dealership in Bristol.

Peter guessed correctly how many public electric charge points there are in Bristol in the competition held by Wessex Garages at the EVOLUTION Motor Show in May.

David Martin, General Manager at Wessex Garages, said: “We attended the ultra-low emission motor show with a 100% Nissan LEAF and also a e-NV200 electric van and chatted to visitors about their green benefits.

“To tie in with the green theme we asked people to guess how many public electric charge points there are in Bristol. Peter guessed 120, which was correct. We hope Peter and his family enjoy their day trip to Bristol Zoo.”

The 100% electric Nissan LEAF, which is built in Sunderland, is the world’s most popular and successful electric vehicle to date. It is now available with a 30kW battery option, which would power around 150 miles. This option also comes with an eight-year, 100,000 mile warranty.

David added: “Nissan’s electric van is the e-NV200, which combines the NV200, a former International Van of the Year, with the proven technology of the record breaking LEAF. The e-NV200 has zero emissions and low running costs.”

Wessex Garages has outlets in Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester and Newport. It specialises in new and used car sales across South Wales and the South West.
