Steve Grinter, our Service Manager at our dealership on Hadfield Road in Cardiff, is taking part in the Armed Forces Day Golf Tournament this Tuesday (June 21, 2016)
The competition, which is sponsored by us, will raise funds for the South Wales Armed Forces Day and take place at Cottrell Park Golf Club in St Nicholas.
Steve will enter the tournament as part of a team called the Caddyshacks. The team includes Sean Davies, Director at Davies Motor Company, Mike Chick, Sales Manager at Pro-copy and Justin Belle, Director at Lonsdale Contracts.
There are 18 teams signed up to play. Tea or coffee and a bacon roll will be provided on arrival. The event will be a four-person scramble format with first tee-off at 9.30am.
The person on the day who gets their ball nearest the pin on the 12th hole will win a Nissan GT-R track day experience from us. Good luck!
The tournament will raise money for South Wales Armed Forces Day, which takes place in Caerphilly on Saturday, June 25.
The aim of Armed Forces Day South Wales is to raise awareness of the contribution made by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces.
It also gives people an opportunity to show their support to the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from currently serving personnel, to service families, veterans and cadets.
We are always keen to help local businesses, charities and organisations within our community. The Armed Forces Day Golf Tournament is a great event and we are pleased that we have been able to lend our support once again.
