We're inviting Nissan GT-R fans in Bristol to test their driving skills in a simulator this month (August, 2015) and raise money for charity at the same time.
People can have a go in the GT-R simulator at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta from August 6th until 9th in aid of Penny Brohn Cancer Care.
Terry Thurgood, our General Manager at the dealership on Pennywell Road, said: “We are a partner of the fiesta and have supported the event for a number of years. It is a fantastic, fun-filled festival for the family. This year we decided it would be a great chance during the fiesta to raise money for our chosen Charity of the Year – Penny Brohn Cancer Care.
“We are taking along a GT-R simulator to the event and offering people the chance to test out their driving skills for a donation to the charity. The person who records the fastest lap during the weekend will win a GT-R track day at Silverstone Race Track.
“The Nissan GT-R is a supercar, which has fantastic levels of performance and rapid acceleration going from nought to 62 miles per hour in 2.84 seconds. We hope lots of people get involved in the competition during the weekend and help us raise much needed funds for Penny Brohn Cancer Care."
As well as taking along the simulator Wessex Garages will have a selection of cars from the Nissan range on display for people to see. Staff will also be on hand to answer any questions about the vehicles. There will be exclusive fiesta only special deals for people making an enquiry at the event.
