We're off to the Bradley Stoke Community Festival

This weekend were going to be at the Bradley Stoke Community Festival in Bristol – if you're popping along come and say 'hi'.

It is a great family fun event organised by Bradley Stoke Town Council. There will be lots going on from dog agility displays, live music to dancing and football tournaments. Something for everyone!

We will be at the event on Saturday and Sunday with a range of our cars. We plan to take along a Qashqai, Juke, Micra and Pulsar and possibly Nissan GT-R for people to see.

On the Saturday the main show is the dog agility displays by Gloucestershire Agility. Fun rides for the children include trampolines, giant slides, football games, giant inflatables, a Helter Skelter and the Vertical Xtreme climbing wall alongside the local Scouts providing longbow archery and other activities.

Sideshows, arts & crafts and community stalls will offer a wide range of local products and novelties.

On Sunday a 10K multi terrain race organised by the Sole Sisters starts at 9.30am and finishes at the Jubilee Centre. Five hundred competitors are expected.

At Baileys Court Activity Centre there will be a joint 'Church in the Park' outdoor service from the Bradley Stoke Churches starting at 10.30am. The Bradley Stoke Cricket Club will open their bar from 12noon followed by the Mayor's XI v a BSCC XI starting at 2pm finishing with a cricket tea and evening entertainment in the clubhouse. The BS Bowls Club will provide roll up demonstrations throughout the afternoon.

A Skate Board competition along with King Ramps will also be taking place at the Bradley Stoke skate park along with a barbecue and refreshments from 10.30am through to 4pm and everyone is welcome to enter.

We will also have collection tins if people wish to donate to our Charity of the Year, Penny Brohn Cancer Care.

Penny Brohn Cancer Care, which is based in Pill, has been helping people living with cancer and their supporters since 1980. Its 'whole-person' approach combines physical and emotional support designed to help sufferers live well with the impact of cancer at any stage of the illness.
