The Nissan Qashqai has been created to give the ultimate in urban driving experiences. Having received a high level of development from the researchers at Nissan, motorists can be confident in the expansive number of technological features and comfort-bringing additions that have been given to the Qashqai.
As well as these elements, the Qashqai also gives exemplary levels of performance and handling, making sure that it is the ideal all-round vehicle for any journey and terrain.
Nissan describes the Qashqai as the 'new urban triathlete', highlighting the extent to which it is able to take on any challenge. This philosophy is reflected in the Qashqai's exterior, which has a unique and bold profile. This makes for a confident visual presence both on the road and at rest, and also gives motorists confidence while driving. Customisation options have been provided for the Qashqai, with nine different colour choices.
There are also options for personalisation within the Qashqai's interior, with upholstery trim choices of Charcoal cloth, Graphite cloth, or Graphite leather. Interior lighting is also included to enhance the ambience in the cabin, and the technological features are controlled through the five-inch colour TFT screen. If desired, motorists can also choose the NissanConnect system, which is controlled through a high-resolution seven-inch anti-glare touchscreen. This system adds a DAB radio, Bluetooth® audio streaming, and the ability to integrate smartphone applications.
Both petrol and diesel engines are available for the Qashqai, with two-cylinder and four-cylinder models giving a choice between six-speed manual or Xtronic transmission. These help the Qashqai to reach top speeds of up to 190mph, as well as 0-60mph in under 13 seconds. The combined fuel consumption is 74.3mpg, and CO2 emissions are 99g/km.
Having been awarded a full five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, you can also be confident that all vehicle occupants are enclosed within a safe space. Nissan has included six airbags within the Qashqai, and have also developed a driver attention alert system to protect against the effects of driver fatigue.
