The Kia Ceed Sportswagon PHEV is Kia's first european-built plug-in hybrid and the only compact estate to deliver plug-in hybrid technology. It has the ability to be charged from the mains and is capable of travelling as far as 37 miles on battery power alone. The spacious design conquers space with comfort in mind, the battery pack is placed under the rear bench to ensure a spacious environment for all passengers.
The Kia Ceed features regenerative braking technology that recharges your battery pack as you are braking and a coasting guide to let you know when to take your foot off the pedal.
With the new charging indicator strategically placed on top of the dashboard you are able to see your battery level from outside. Taking just 2 hours and 15 minutes to charge from 0% to 100% from any mains socket.
The high-definition touchscreen allows you to split the screen and use up to three apps simultaneously. Listen to your music while being able to check the weather and use the navigation system with telematics. The Kia Ceed Sportswagon PHEV takes just 2 hours and 15 minutes to charge from 0% battery to 100%. The Ceed Sportswagon powertrain combines an 8.9kWh lithium-polymer battery pack, a 44.5kW electric motor and an efficient 1.6 GDI engine with a six-speed double-clutch transmission. This results in a full 141 ps for 0-100kmph acceleration in 10.8 seconds.
The Ceed Sportswagon comes in eight different colours, with the bumpers, exterior door handles and door mirrors are all body-coloured, while selected models also have chrome window surrounds for added style.
