AN INDEPENDENT reviewer has recently praised our Nissan brand centre in Bristol after he played back the dash cam footage of his supercar being serviced.
Adnan M. Khan from Feltham took his Nissan GT-R to our Cribbs Causeway dealership and uploaded footage of the technician test driving his car on to a GT-R forum.
Adnan explained: “You can see from the footage of the technician driving my supercar that it was in safe hands at all times. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Wessex Garages again and will probably use them for my 48-month service.
“Overall the experience was great and Andy Edwards, Workshop Controller at the dealership, was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend the company to other GT-R owners.”
Adnan regularly posts on motoring forum pages and receives feedback from other GT-R owners.
Darren Lakin, our Aftersales Director at Wessex Garages, explained: “It was great to read Adnan’s review of our service and to see his dash cam footage of our technician driving his supercar professionally and safely.
“Recently there has been some concerns about how staff members at car dealerships drive their customers’ cars and this footage shows that here at Wessex Garages we don’t take vehicles in our hands for joy rides. We take test drives seriously at all times.
“The new service workshop at Cribbs Causeway represents a flagship venture for us and sees a move away from a traditional garage look to a bright, light, modern and spotlessly clean environment, with all the very latest hi-tech equipment available to offer our customers the very best for their vehicles.”
The facilities have cost around £300,000 for the company to build and install, and are home to eight technicians, including two Master Technicians and two apprentices. All are factory-trained to the highest standards required by Nissan and Wessex.
Darren added: “With the cutting edge facilities at Cribbs Causeway and our dedicated GT-R technicians we are the place in the South West to service the Nissan supercar. We also recently held a Supercar Day and had the new 2017 Nissan GT-R in the showroom for people to see. We were the first Nissan dealer in Europe to have the 2017 GT-R on show and it was the star of the day.
“The new model features the most significant changes to Nissan’s flagship supercar since it was introduced in 2007. It has an exciting new look both inside and out, as well as major driving performance enhancements and key new features. Its stability and airflow have been improved thanks to a perfect blend of design and engineering.”
