The staff at our NEWPORT Hyundai dealership were pleased to donate activity packs and bags for life to their nominated Charity of the Year this month (JUNE).
Wessex Garages on Newport Retail Park gave away 200 ‘Around the World’ activity packs containing crayons, word searches, stickers, puzzles and more that were unused after the launch of the Ioniq.
Martin Watts, our General Manager at the dealership, explained: “St David’s Hospice Care is our chosen Charity of the Year once again for 2018 and we’re on hand to help them in any way we can throughout the year.
“We realised we had the activity packs in our cupboard, but no one was having the benefit, so decided to donate them so that they could be used for the charities Unicorn Service. The service helps bereaved children in South East Wales, an incredibly worthwhile cause that we are proud to support them. "
“We also gave the charity just short of 1500 Hyundai bags for life to be used for goody bags and events etc”
