STAFF at our Gloucester motor dealership will be displaying a variety of vehicles at a charity motor show in the area this weekend (June 11 & 12, 2016).

The Gloucestershire Motor Show takes place at Highnam Court in aid of The Pied Piper Appeal on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12.

James Bicknell, our Nissan Brand Manager at the dealership on Mercia Road, said: “We’re looking forward to attending the Gloucestershire Motor Show. It is a very popular event among car enthusiasts and is also a fun family day out. It is a good opportunity for car owners to show off their vehicles to the spectators and to each other.

“There will be a large selection of vintage and classic cars and top of the range sports cars to see. We will be displaying a variety of new cars at the show including a Nissan Leaf, which is 100% electric, the Nissan GT-R supercar, as well as the four other popular Nissan models -the X-Trail, Qashqai, Juke and Pulsar.

“To add to this, we will also have six Kia vehicles on show including the Sorrento, Sportage, Cee’d, the seven seater Carens, Rio and the compact Picanto. Visitors will have the chance to look around these cars and get information and advice from our Wessex Garages’ team, who will be on-hand.”

The Wessex Garages’ display will be on plot 33 and team members will also be giving away goody bags to visitors, which will include a Wessex Garages’ branded pen, air freshener, key ring, golf tee and a helpful guide for measuring tyre tread.

James added: “The profits from the event will be donated to The Pied Piper Appeal, which is based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. It was created in 1992 to improve the lives of sick children in Gloucestershire. Initially started to fund a new children’s hospital for the county, the charity now helps sick children from across Gloucestershire in many different ways. We hope the event raises a large amount of money for this much deserved local charity.”

Tickets for the Gloucestershire Motor Show, which takes place on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12 are available on the gate. Adult tickets are £10 per person and the price for children five to 16-years-old is £5. Family tickets for two adults and two children are £25.
