Renault's heavy-duty mover is the Master, a practical van that is strong enough to carry large quantities of cumbersome items. The Master Panel Van isn't the only option however, as you can choose the Crew Van for extra passenger capacity or the dedicated Passenger people transporter.
Every variant has the same long and tall shape which gives the model its large interior dimensions. A touch of style is added by the large headlamps and modern steel wheels, which you can swap for optional alloys if desired. A wide selection of paint finishes are also available to choose from to match the look to your brand.
Access to the inside of the van is straightforward through the large sliding side door and 180-degree opening rear doors. This means convenient entry for passengers and easy loading and unloading of items. The Panel Van and Crew Van are also offered with a choice of three wheelbase lengths and two heights to maximise the room for cargo or occupants. Lashing rings hold items securely in transit, and up in the cabin you are surrounded by convenient storage areas.
Supporting you during your working day is a variety of Renault technology. The DAB digital radio/CD system also includes USB and AUX input which enables you to play music from an external device. Bluetooth is another standard-fit feature, allowing you to take calls safely at the wheel. The addition of a 12-volt power socket helps you to charge vital devices so you always stay connected. Among the generous options list is R-Link, Renault's sophisticated multimedia system with satellite navigation and a touchscreen display.
The Master's engine offering has a unit for different driving styles and model types so you can select the option that best meets your needs. The dCi 135 and dCi 165 diesel are turbocharged and produce ample low-end torque to effortlessly pull a fully-loaded Master. A start/stop system improves each unit's economy to bring running costs down. Select engines are linked with a six-speed manual gearbox or the manufacturer's semi-automatic Quickshift transmission which delivers power without interruption. Power assisted steering has also been fitted as standard for easy manoeuvrability at low speeds and a more enjoyable driving experience.
Rest assured, the Master has been designed to be safe as well as strong. A full steel bulkhead separates the load area from the cabin, and deadlocking deters would-be thieves from accessing tools in the back. Intelligent active technology keeps you safe on the road by preventing accidents in the first place. Renault has included Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Grip Xtend, Hill Start Assist and Trailer Swing Assist at no extra cost.
