The Nissan NP300 Navara can be yours today. New for 2016, the capable pick-up truck returns to the model range with more style, more options and more to enjoy.
Muscular sculpting across the body implies the Navara's strength – and that force is confirmed when you get on the road. The loading bed holds cargo weighing up to a tonne, and is accessed easily via a low, lightweight tailgate. Secure cargo of any shape and size with the built-in moveable cleats. One of the other key features is not immediately obvious. Nissan has given the pick-up a fully boxed ladder chassis, which improves overall agility while maintaining high carrying and towing capacities.
Equipment levels for the NP300 Navara include Visia, Acenta, Acenta+, N-Connecta and Tekna. NASA has designed the supportive seats in the cabin, and discreet storage spaces around you keep valuable items safer. Acenta+ upwards builds on the comfort level with automatic air conditioning and dual-zone climate control. A five-inch HD colour screen positioned directly in front of the driver's position provides a clear view of drive data, dials and gauges.
Nissan's 2.3-litre diesel engine can be chosen with a two-wheel or four-wheel drive system. The single turbo version of the engine produces 158bhp, and the twin turbo reaches 187bhp. Both deliver their full amount of torque – more than 200Nm – at just 1,500rpm. The NP300 Navara can tow a maximum braked weight of 3.5 tonnes. Combined with the payload limit, this gives you the ability to transport massive amounts in a single run.
Safety has been brought to the fore in several new Nissan cars. The latest Navara aims to be an all-rounder, and the seven airbags are just as encompassing. The NP300 showcases the clever Nissan Safety Shield package, which includes a Traction Control System, an Anti-lock Braking System and Vehicle Dynamic Control. Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control also keep you secure and confident on inclines.
