From the name alone, it is evident that the Nissan X-Trail is a vehicle that excels on the off-road paths. Nissan has built the X-Trail to perfectly embody the adventuring spirit, as well as the company philosophy of exciting innovation.
Each journey is one to be enjoyed when taken within the X-Trail; as well as making a powerful exterior, Nissan has crafted a vehicle that is superbly comfortable.
The exterior of the X-Trail hides no secrets regarding the performance level it can achieve. Strong and powerful, the X-Trail is both commanding and reliable, giving a confident road presence to all who witness it. It holds eight different colour customisation options, and motorists can choose between 17-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, customisation options include Graphite cloth or leather for the upholstery - the leather itself available in either Graphite or Cream. As expected from the exterior, the interior of the vehicle is roomy and spacious, with class-leading levels of head and legroom for each occupant. The seats also have the capability of reclining if required, and can fold down entirely to maximise the level of boot space for luggage storage.
The X-Trail makes use of a dCi130 engine, which arrives in either two-wheel or four-wheel drive, and with the choice of either Xtronic or six-speed manual transmission. This allows the X-Trail to reach a top speed of 117mph, a combined fuel consumption of 57.6mph, and CO2 emissions of 129g/km.
Nissan has installed a high level of safety features within the X-Trail, backing up the promises that the exterior implies. Six airbags protect all occupants, as do the three rear headrests and the included drive safety assistant systems. These include the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Brake Assist. ISOFIX tethers are also included, enabling the quick and easy installation of child safety seats.
