Kia has designed the Sorento as a stylish SUV, capable of taking the family to any destination with high levels of comfort and technology. It contains seven seats, and is available in five different trim levels: the KX-1, KX-2, KX-2 Sat Nav, KX-3, and the KX 4. Combining class-leading levels of economy and efficiency as well as excellent levels of handling and agility, the Sorento is the perfect premium SUV for all occasions.
On the outside, the Sorento is uncompromising and confident. It features a lower stance, making it easier to load and unload luggage and cargo from the vehicle. The Sorento has a unique look, as well as featuring Kia's visual trademarks such as the distinctive tiger-nose grille, in addition to LED daytime running lights to provide style as well as substance.
Inside, Kia has only used the highest-quality materials in the cabin in order to provide a comfortable journey for the driver and each passenger. Ergonomic design has been employed within the interior, to make sure that every feature and function is within easy and intuitive reach. A CD player with USB and AUX ports is included, along with six speakers. The steering wheel is multifunctional, allowing for control of the audio functions direct from the driver's seat. Kia has also installed dual automatic air conditioning, giving personal preference in temperature to both the driver and the front seat passenger.
A 2.2-litre CRDi all-wheel drive engine powers the Sorento. This has 194bhp, can reach a maximum speed of 118mph, and can achieve 0-60mph acceleration in just 9.5 seconds. It has a combined fuel consumption of 47.9mpg, and CO2 emissions of 155g/km
Installed safety features include six airbags as standard, located at the front, side, and curtain positions. The Sorento also has a roll-over sensor installed, which works alongside the airbags to ensure that they deploy within milliseconds. ISOFIX safety fittings are included for the easy installation of child safety seats, and the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system allows for full control of the vehicle's stability and traction on all road surfaces.
