About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join our Accounts team. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing monthly management accounts to strict deadlines along with providing our management team with vital financial analysis to help drive the profitability of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly Management Accounts
- Producing financial and operational reports
- Submitting Manufacturer dealer composites
- Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals/Prepayments
- Nominal Ledger Journals
- Assisting with managing the day to day running of the accounts team
- Contributing to high-quality audit results
- Ensuring financial practices align with guidelines and standards
What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience of working to strict deadlines
- Motor trade experience is advantageous but not essential
Key information:
Salary: Competitive
Working pattern: 37.5 weekly hours, Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm with 30-minute lunch break
