The new design of the Santa Fe has been dubbed 'Storm Edge' by Hyundai, and it has been crafted to be assertive and dynamic. The big and bold front grille features the recognisable hexagonal design. The Santa Fe can provide space for up to five or seven people depending on which model you may choose. Fitted as standard is the dual-zone climate control system. Included in the Premium SE model is the fully adjustable driver's seat and sunroof.
Available with Torque on Demand four-wheel drive, the drive system from Hyundai gives power to each wheel, so that when driving conditions are tough you can trust the Santa Fe to support you. The 196bhp 2.2-litre CRDi diesel engine is as efficient as it is powerful, with CO2 emissions as low as 156g/km.
Safety and technology
Bluetooth® connectivity is fitted as standard and it includes voice recognition, USB/AUX-in and an iPod® connection. The Premium and Premium SE models have a seven-inch touchscreen display, through which you can access the satellite navigation and a number of other infotainment features. There is a rear parking camera as well as front parking sensors on the Premium SE model and Smart Parking Assist will parallel park the car for you when it finds a suitable space. Voted as the Euro NCAP safety car in class in 2012, the Santa Fe has always had a reputation for excellent safety. Active features include a tyre pressure monitoring system, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, and Hill Start Assist to stop you rolling backwards as you pull away. The ActiveBonnet System is fitted across the range as standard and it helps to detect when the car has a collision with a person, raising the bonnet so that they are not struck by the hardest parts of the car.
