The overall look of the Rio is sports-focused, with sculpted flanks and a curved roof line creating a streamlined profile. The interior of the Kia Rio has been built around the centre console, with all functions and technological features within easy reach of the driver's seat. The easily understandable three-dial instrument cluster displays vital drive information, as does the on-board trip computer.

Design and Practicality Tasteful updates to the exterior of the New Rio give it a refreshed and uncluttered appearance. Mild Hybrid Powertrain The new Kia Rio features an advanced mild hybrid powertrain, giving you low-emission everyday driving. By pairing the latest 1.0 T-GDi gasoline engine with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery, it can reduce fuel consumption levels. What’s more, the integrated ‘e-system’ recovers kinetic energy during deceleration phases to provide torque assistance when accelerating. (Available on the '3' and 'GT-Line S' grades)

Reversing Camera Always get the full picture when reversing into a parking spot. Whenever you reverse into a parking space, the camera will automatically display the rear view on your 8" LCD screen to give you better visibility behind your new Rio, along with dynamic guidelines to help guide you into place. ('2' grade upwards)

Blind-Spot Collision Warning Keep an eye on the blind spots. When you want to change lane, the BCW system detects any vehicle in your blind spot and warns you. (Available on the 'GT-Line S' only)

App Services The UVO app⁵ revolutionises the level of control and peace of mind afforded to you: Check your car’s fuel level or current location, and should you find its doors are not locked, close them remotely right away.
