BOBATH CHILDREN'S THERAPY CENTRE based in Cardiff have received over £400 from Wessex Garages' Penarth Road branch recently (April 2017).
Bobath Children's Therapy Centre helps support children through-out Wales who suffer with cerebral palsy, helping provide specialist therapy to improve their quality of life. Wessex are proud to have helped raise over £400 for the charity, through various fundraising activities and with the help of all profits from the coffee machine being donated to Bobath. Manager, Mark Goodwin, said, "We are delighted to have helped raise money for such a good cause and we have enjoyed fundraising for Bobath so much that we are going to be continuing our alliance with them into to 2017. We hope that we can help raise more money this year, and will continue to support the charity through fund-raising and promotion to increase awareness of their work."
Bobath therapists are state-registered and work together as a team to combine these disciplines to give each child the skills to explore their world, communicate their needs, maximise their potential and so improve their quality of life. Its mission is to deliver world class Bobath therapy to as many children with cerebral palsy in Wales as possible. Gail Griffiths, Head of Fundraising & Retail at Bobart Children's Therapy Centre Wales said, "We would like to thank Wessex Garages for their support this year, and for their generous donation.
