Will I receive my car earlier than 6-12months?
Each new car order is treated separately, the delivery date will depend on the manufacturers production times and availability of Semi-Conductors and components. Often vehicles with less specification will be built more quickly. Cars can often be delivered ahead of the estimated time and we will update our customers regularly.

I’ve been given an estimated delivery date, is it likely to move again?
Unfortunately, delivery dates to UK are dependent on the manufacturer build times and are subject to change depending on the supply chain.

My order is in process, but it’s taking too long, can I cancel and get a deposit refund?
You may cancel your order if the delivery date exceeds the estimated date at the point of order. Deposits are normally transferable or refundable unless specific costs have been incurred which cannot be reclaimed by Wessex Garages. Wherever possible we will deliver your car on time or offer you a suitable alternative depending on availability.

How long is my part exchange valuation valid for my new car order?
We will honour the price given on the order form for your part exchange to the point of delivery unless we have agreed with you that the part exchange price will be agreed once the confirmed delivery date is known.

My current car needs to be given back, how does this affect my contract?
If your contract is coming to an end you will need to speak to your finance company as they will often extend your agreement period until your new car is available.

I’m eligible for a new Motability scheme vehicle, but I can’t get a new car. What do I do?
The Motability scheme is affected in the same way as retail purchases and all deliveries are being affected. Please speak to Motability for the options available to you.

When will new car supply return to normal?
All manufacturers are affected by restricted new car supply. Due to the backlog of orders in the system it is unlikely that delivery dates on most cars will reduce during 2022 as there is no centrally held stock. Vehicles are being built to order and you will be reserving you place in the queue. Delaying your order will inevitably increase the waiting time for your new car.

Will I still be eligible for finance offers?

We will guarantee the finance offer which is available on your car at the time of order. If at the point of delivery, the finance offer has been enhanced, you will benefit from the increased campaign offer.
