THREE members of Bristol Rugby have this month (February, 2016) collected their new third-generation Kia Sportages from our Feeder Road dealership in Bristol.

Jack O’Connell, who plays in the first team, Eoin Power, the team’s Physiotherapist and Dr Harriet Collins, who is involved with looking after the player’s treatments, picked up their brand new vehicles yesterday (February 16, 2016).

Tom Wherlock, our Fleet B2B Specialist, explained: “We were delighted that Jack, Eoin and Harriet chose to get their personal cars from us. We sponsor Bristol Rugby and have done so for many years we are so pleased we could extend our relationship even further.”

Jack and Eoin both chose the Kia Sportage ‘1’ 1.7 diesel and Harriet went for the Sportage ‘3’ 1.7 diesel with satellite navigation.

Jack explained: “Wessex Garages do a fantastic job supporting Bristol Rugby and we have a marvellous relationship with its staff members so it seemed perfect for Harriet, Eoin and I to continue our relationship and purchase our personal cars from the company.

“Wessex Garages has a great ethos and staff are committed to serving customers and also the wider community. They are always keen to support local organisations and charities.

“I chose the Sportage because I love its bold and sporty appearance. It is a vehicle that has enough room for all my rugby kit and also for my new dog, Stella, a Cocker Spaniel.

“An added bonus is that even with the standard model I have a range of great features such as air conditioning, Bluetooth® with Voice Recognition and Music Streaming, USB & AUX Ports, a trip computer and Cruise Control.”

Also standard on the Kia Sportage ‘1’ are 16 inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, rain sensing front wipers, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, leather trimmed steering wheel and hill-start assist control.

Eoin explained: “The Sportage is a great looking vehicle and has plenty of space, as well as a range of storage solutions and a high boot capacity. It will make it easy to transport all the equipment I need for work, which is fantastic. The Sportage just ticked all the boxes for what I needed and the staff at Wessex Garages were so accommodating.”

Harriet’s Sportage comes with Kia’s seven inch Touchscreen Satellite Navigation with European Mapping and a Reversing Camera System Integrated into Sat Nav Screen.

Harriet added: “My sister-in-law told me that her Kia Sportage was the best car they had ever had. Her husband’s backache has gone while driving. It is smart, comfortable and has all the accessories and gadgets you could wish for.

“On hearing this and with Tom’s help at Wessex Garages to secure a good deal through my work with Bristol Rugby, I am looking forward to happy driving during the next three years.”
