THE SEARCH is on for Cardiff crafters to participate in our festive charity evening next month (December, 2015) with Only Men Aloud.
Our Hadfield Road dealership in Cardiff is looking for creative-folk to have a table at the party on Thursday, December 10 to raise money for George Thomas Hospice Care.
Gareth Howells, our General Manager at the dealership, explained: “We’re hosting the Christmas party in aid of our dealership’s chosen Charity of the Year, George Thomas Hospice Care in Cardiff. It provides specialist home-based palliative care for people suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
“We are looking for crafters from the city to attend the evening to sell their wares to visitors. The tables will cost £20 per crafter and the money will be donated to George Thomas Hospice Care.
“Crafters will be able to set up from 5pm on Thursday, December 10. Anyone interested in attending should call Sophie Austin on 0117 954 7515 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
“As well as the craft stalls Only Men Aloud will also be singing a selection of Christmas Carols during the evening. It will be a chance for people to get in the festive spirit and browse the stalls for some great gifts and decorations while listening to the super talented male voice choir.”
Only Men Aloud is a Cardiff-based group, which was formed by Tim Rhys-Evans, who is a classically trained singer and former musical director of the Welsh National Youth Opera. In 2008 the group won the BBC’s Last Choir Standing competition.
George Thomas Hospice Care was established in 1984 and has helped more than 24,000 patients and their families in Cardiff. It is committed to personal dignity, quality of life and the highest possible standards of care and service.
The charity Christmas party will take place on Thursday, December 10 from 6.30pm until 8.30pm at Wessex Garages on Hadfield Road.
