Charging Ahead: Kia Sparks Excitement with EV6 and Niro EV 'Horizon' Models, available at Wessex Garages.

Kia has introduced their special-edition Horizon models for its EV6 and Niro EV, expanding the existing line-ups of these popular electric vehicles. The Horizon models come with a comprehensive standard equipment package, offering enticing features for any electric car enthusiasts.

The ‘EV6’ Horizon, positioned just above the entry-level ‘Air’ model and below the sportier GT-Line variants, introduces enhancements such as body-coloured flush exterior door handles, a solar glass windscreen, dual LED headlights with adaptive driving beam, and a convenient wireless phone charger. Equipped with a 225bhp rear-wheel drive powertrain and a spacious 77.4kWh battery pack, the EV6 Horizon boasts an impressive range of up to 328 miles on a single charge. Notably, it supports ultra-rapid 800V charging technology, allowing the vehicle to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in a mere 18 minutes when connected to a 350kW charger.

On the Niro EV Horizon side, this model slots neatly between the entry-level ‘2’ grade and the mid-level ‘3’ grade in the Niro EV line-up. With additional standard equipment over the entry model, including LED headlights, rear privacy glass, rain-sensing front wipers, electric windows all around, heated front seats, and a steering wheel, as well as a wireless phone charger, the Niro EV Horizon promises a heightened driving experience. Sporting a 64.8kWh battery pack, it achieves an impressive range of up to 285 miles on a single charge.
